Crypto Influencer Kevin Mirshahi Found Dead in Montreal Park: Report

The 25-year-old has been missing since he was abducted along with three others from a condo in the city on June 21. The other abductees, two women and one man, were located by police hours later. In August, Joanie Lepage, 32, was charged with first-degree murder of Mirshahi and the abduction of Mirshahi and the three others. It is not known if her actions are linked to Mirshahi’s cryptocurrency ventures.

At certain points in 2019 and 2020, it seems like beating bitcoin was easy, with many tokens beating it by a wide margin (north of 1000% over bitcoin’s own generally stellar return, on average). What’s more, it used to not require too much exploration out of the scale of market cap to find the tokens beating bitcoin, with an average market cap rank of the outperformers of ~30 pre-2020.

According to CF Benchmarks, traders are flocking to the $100,000 call option on the CME, a location favored by institutional investors, following the lead of their Deribit-based counterparts. A call option gives the purchaser the right, but not the obligation, to purchase the underlying asset at a predetermined price on or before a specific date. A call buyer is implicitly bullish on the market.
